Joy

Seduction is the ultimate existential joy. With that ends the introductory page, the one to seduce you to this page. How can you reach across to another person, be it a friend, a lover or some other personal contact? If you share an existentialist point of view - perhaps a "Stirnerian" one like myself - you will know the powerlessness of concepts; you cannot argue logically to another person that he should be your friend. Or your lover. Or even that you should meet. There is no force you can muster that can accomplish this. You reach across in only one way - by seduction, by touching the other person's individuality - with your individuality.

Living is a whole-body experience. For an academic, it is easy to get caught up in the world of visual structure. Little is cared for beauty and the seduction a little flower can induce by its smell. So this page is made with the purpose of balancing the structure focus found on the other pages. This is a page for what we would call the small joys of life, and - an exploration of the secret that these small joys of life are really the great ones. I will fill it with observations, poetry and stories as time progresses.

To please, but also to be pleased: I share the words below in the hope that some of them will please you. But I live to be pleased as well as to please, and have for that purpose made a page with writing that pleases me. It is the page for words that sing.
